بِسْمِ اللّـٰهِ الرَّحْـمٰنِ الرَّحِيْـمِ

Bismillah hir rahman nir raheem

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

اِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْاَرْضُ زِلْزَالَـهَا

Izaa zul zilatil ardu zil zaalaha

جب زمین بڑے زور سے ہلا دی جائے گی۔

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake

وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا

Wa akh rajatil ardu athqaalaha

اور زمین اپنے بوجھ نکال پھینکے گی۔

And the earth discharges its burdens

وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا

Wa qaalal insaanu ma laha

اور انسان کہے گا کہ اس کو کیا ہوگیا۔

And man says, “What is [wrong] with it?” –

يَوۡمَئِذٖ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا

Yawmaa izin tuhaddithu akhbaaraha

اس دن وہ اپنی خبریں بیان کرے گی۔

That Day, it will report its news

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا

Bi-anna rabbaka awhaa laha

اس لیے کہ آپ کا رب اس کو حکم دے گا۔

Because your Lord has commanded it.

يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتٗا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

Yawma iziny yas durun naasu ash tatal liyuraw a’maalahum

اس دن لوگ مختلف حالتوں میں لوٹیں گے تاکہ انہیں ان کے اعمال دکھائے جائیں۔

That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.

فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرٗا يَرَهُۥ

Famaiy ya’mal mithqala zarratin khai raiy-yarah

پھر جس نے ذرہ بھر نیکی کی ہے وہ اس کو دیکھ لے گا۔

So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it,

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٖ شَرّٗا يَرَهُۥ

Wa maiy-y’amal mithqala zarratin sharraiy-yarah

اور جس نے ذرہ بھر برائی کی ہے وہ اس کو دیکھ لے گا۔

And whoever does an atom’s weight of evil will see it.
