ترجمہ: شروع اﷲ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان نہایت رحم والا (ہے)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
1-وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيۡتُونِ
Wat teeni waz zaitoon
قسم ہے انجیر کی اور زیتون کی
By the fig and the olive
2-وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
Wa toori sineen
ور طور سِینِین کی
And [by] Mount Sinai
3-وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ
Wa haazal balad-il ameen
اور اس امن والے شہر کی
And [by] this secure city [Makkah],
4-لَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ فِيٓ أَحۡسَنِ تَقۡوِيمٖ
Laqad khalaqnal insaana fee ahsani taqweem
یقیناً ہم نے انسان کو بہترین صورت میں پیدا کیا
We have certainly created man in the best of stature;
5-ثُمَّ رَدَدۡنَٰهُ أَسۡفَلَ سَٰفِلِينَ
Thumma ra dad naahu asfala saafileen
پھر اسے نیچوں سے نیچا کر دیا
Then We return him to the lowest of the low,
6-إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ فَلَهُمۡ أَجۡرٌ غَيۡرُ مَمۡنُونٖ
Ill-lal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati; falahum ajrun ghairu mamnoon
لیکن جو لوگ ایمان ﻻئے اور (پھر) نیک عمل کیے تو ان کے لئے ایسا اجر ہے جو کبھی ختم نہ ہوگا
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.
7-فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعۡدُ بِٱلدِّينِ
Fama yu kaz zibuka b’adu bid deen
پس تجھے اب روز جزا کے جھٹلانے پر کون سی چیز آماده کرتی ہے
So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?
8-أَلَيۡسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحۡكَمِ ٱلۡحَٰكِمِينَ
Alai sal laahu bi-ahkamil haakimeen
کیا اللہ تعالیٰ (سب) حاکموں کا حاکم نہیں ہے
Is not Allah the most just of judges?
